Conclusion

The Canadian Football League Alumni Association has come along at the right time with the right strategies.

Supporting team Alumni Associations and other partners in carrying out their work, as well as sharing best practices and minimizing duplication will be a key objective early on. Identifying partnership and promotional/merchandising opportunities will also lead to opportunities in the short and longer term.

The Board is confident that the CFLAA will be able to make a difference to alumni and their families by offering support to those experiencing financial or medical hardship. All initiatives that the CFLAA considers will be held up to the values, mission, and vision to ensure there is a fit. After all once we have finished playing we are all part of the same extended family!

Our goal is to strengthen that family so we're there for one another for the game we love and the league we helped build, and to be there for the broader community, the fans of our league!
