“I am not normally one to bring things to the public eye, but I feel this is one that is worth it. I wanted to pass this along as I was shocked to see this as I was scrolling through my face book feed. I did not know Jamal for that long, but even as young man, he made an impression on this grizzled old vet. It was his character that made him stand out. He was a good kid, and from reading other posts, he carried that character into his everyday life. He was diagnosed with Gillian Barres Syndrome, Colon Cancer, and osteomyelitis. He was too young to endure the journey he had. There is a go fund me page set up for Jamal and his family.”
