JOHN MOLISON FARMER June 29, 1925 – May 30, 2016 John Molison Farmer, a strong beautiful man, passed bravely in peace on May 30, 2016. He lived life well! Grateful for 68 years of marriage with his cherished wife, Shirley, their unconditional love for one another and their family is an inspiration. His kindness, generosity and compassion are truly valued by their children Marilyn, Rod (Linda Tickins), Jody (late Rob Smith, Peter Herbert) and Jill (Angelo Valente), grandchildren Devon (Matt Low), Lindsay (Jeff Glover), Jamie, Connie, Molly, Lili, Christopher and James and great-grandchild Lauren. ‘Rocky’s’ good-natured interest in others and the time he always made for them, will be missed. Everyone who knows him feels fortunate – welcomed, loved and special. He shared a full and active life at Vaughan Road Collegiate, the RCAF, University of Toronto, the Toronto Indians and Argos football, IBM and Craigleith Ski Club. We will include all friends in celebration at Sunset Cove, 16 Raglan Street, Collingwood, Ontario, on Friday, June 10th at 3 p.m. You may kindly send donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation. Enjoy a Manhattan or a Tim’s in John’s honour. Cheers to health and happiness! Friends may visit John’s online Book of Memories at www.fawcettfuneralhomes.com
