The Montreal-born offensive guard was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1988.

Tony Pajaczkowski, who played 13 seasons in the Canadian Football League, died Saturday at his home in Port Hope, Ont. He was 86 years old.
Pajaczkowski suffered from dementia in recent years. His wife Catherine plans to donate his brain to researchers studying the longterm effects of blows to the head.
Pajaczkowski, who played alongside the late Bob Geary at Montreal’s Catholic High School and the Verdun Shamcats, joined the Calgary Stampeders in 1965. He spent 11 seasons as an offensive guard in Calgary before finishing his career with the Alouettes in 1966-67.
He was an all-star with Calgary six times and once in Montreal. He won the Schenley Award as the outstanding Canadian player in 1961 and was the runner-up for the honour in 1960. He was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1988.
He is survived by his wife and two sons.
